We are back
Etichette: eng 13/07/09Somewhere![]() There are some possibilities that the tunnel will become something else. Cut, moved, rusted, packed, moved. 23/06/09Rust
I was on the the bridge on sunday and I discovered the work nicely covered with rust. The bridge and the meshes seems to like eachother and the mesh's color is becoming more similar to the bridge's iron.
Walking along the canal you see the bridge with this strange veil box, tight and squared. When you are near the bridge you discover that the veil is made of iron and it seems quiet sharpen. Leaves entangled between the meshes stay there, whatching outside and inside. Walking under the mesh tunnel you color your field of view. When at home I watched the pictures taken before the work and it is amazing how deeply different is the bridge without our mesh tunnel: flat against complex, far against near. This is a zero degree architecture experiment: how much (soul) room can you build using as few elements as possible? Many elements make this work similar to a long lasting architecture compressed in a few elements and in an extremely short lifetime: meshes' sheets overlapping dance evidently with light when you walk under and aside the tunnel, the structure is thin but I can see clearly static tentions flowing in it. The fact that the color of the work changed so fast make it even more similar to an architecture. We are at the base of architecture. At the first step before many and many more. The job flowed smoothly anyway. It seemed a simple secret juxtapposition noiselessly regulated. We accompanied it with our mouses seeing and thinking. Absolutely no connection with random events.
